WHAT TO EXPECT
PLANNING YOUR SESSION
During the initial email consultation, I want to learn more about your pet and the special relationship you have with him or her. I ask a lot of questions, including:
- What do you love most about your pet(s)?
- What type of relationship do you have with him?
- When you think of her, what makes you smile?
- What images would you most like me to capture?
All my questions are focused on your furry family members, and who doesn’t love talking about them?!
We also talk about different locations. We can hold the photo session at your home or a place that is meaningful to you, such as your pet’s favorite park. I have several locations I can recommend as well! Almost all of my work is done outside, with the exception of some pets who may not go outside, such as cats or birds. I hold those sessions at their homes.
SCHEDULING YOUR SESSION
During the consultation, we will schedule your photography session. Most sessions are held either early in the morning or late in the day, as that is when the light is best. A session fee of 50% of the session total is required to hold your date and time. I usually book 2 weeks out, so this would be the perfect opportunity to get in a grooming session or teach your pup a few new tricks!
Your photo shoot comes next—we’ll have a lot of fun and create amazing photos of your pet(s)! I also offer a specific package if you'd like to join them in the photos too!
VIEWING YOUR PHOTOS & ORDERING PRINTS
Within 7-10 business days of your session, you’ll finally get to see your images! I will email you with a link to your online gallery and download pin. From there, you are able to view and download the images right to your device with your personal pin number. You can also share with friends and family too!
If you'd like to order prints, you can visit the Print Store directly from the gallery. There, you'll be able to choose the type of print (or wall art) you'd like to order. I also offer framed images, metal and wooden wall art and even cards - perfect for the Holiday season or just because.
